He is Risen!
This weekend we celebrated Easter. Saturday we had friends over and had an Easter Egg Hunt. We have a set of "Resurrection Eggs" that have little plastic pieces in them that tell the Easter story, like a little donkey for Palm Sunday, a cup and bread for the last supper, a crown of thorns, etc. Mom Gale made them for us years ago. Anyway, we hid those and candy ones and of course we had such fun! After they were all collected, the kids ate the candy while we told the story.
Today we went to church which was awesome! Autumn wore her new, beautiful Easter dress from Gramma Warren. (See picture) The music and preaching all spoke to my heart. I am amazed always of God's great love for me and the total forgiveness I have because of Christ. We finished the service by singing Chris Tomlin's version of "Amazing Grace". The chorus goes "My chains are gone/I've been set free/My God, my Savior has ransomed me". That is one song I am thankful to have stuck in my head!
At home the kids decorated Eggs then we had our special dinner of lamb and matzo bread. I don't know how we came up with that tradition, but it is sure yummy. Jason grilled the lamb to perfection. We also drank juice out of fancy glasses and used a tablecloth! (Wow, that's some celebration!)

Hi Galeforce...
What a wonderful EASTER section. Shelli, you are doing a fantastic job!! That dress of Autumn's is beyond beautiful. So glad that the resurrection eggs are still alive and being used. This blog is such a blessing to us.
Love....Papa & Grammy
