Hi all! I don't have anything particularly exciting to write, but I want to write something so I decided just to tell you what we did all weekend. Jason has a big Coast Guard test coming up in the beginning of May. (Please pray he will do well!) He needs lots of time to study, so he has been studying a lot this weekend. He stayed home with Aiden on Friday while I took Asher and Autumn on a hike with some other homeschool kids. Since I knew the place where the hike took place, the organizer mom asked me to lead it. I tried to point out certain trees and flowers and birds but I think only about two children were listening to me (including Autumn). In one of the pictures you can see where the children found a stream full of tadpoles and small frogs. It was a great time! After the hike I took Asher and Autumn to swimming lessons at a nearby pool. This was their last lesson and both of them really made some improvement!

On Saturday we basically just relaxed around the house. I ran errands, Jason studied, the kids just played in the backyard or watched movies. We started a new tradition of watching Sat. morning cartoons in bed (the TV in our bedroom is the only TV hooked up to cable). The kids love it, of course, and Asher said, "I love watching cartoons, its like we're real children!"
Today, Sunday, we went to church. Jason and I teach Sunday school to 4s and 5s which is really fun, except that we had a visitor boy who kept trying to escape today! Aiden is in our class and it is so cute to see him smile at me while I'm singing. He often will hug me as I walk past him, as if to say "this is MY mom!" Afterwards, Asher had a small drumming lesson with a guy at church then we went to Barnes & Noble and got hot fudge sundaes at McDonalds. Now we're home and I'm writing this! Maybe next week's edition will have more excitement, but no promises.
"You were bought with a price; therefore glorify God with your body." I Cor 6:20 This was part of this morning's sermon, which was about serving Christ. Something I am going to try to live this week!

Hi again,
What fun! Did anyone fall into the pond? Can't wait to come and visit again so see all the frogs and tadpoles.
I miss you guys! Tell everyone I said hello and that I can't wait to see them soon!
I love you!
