Our week without Daddy

This week was a challenge to me and the children as Jason had to attend a conference in Orlando, FL for the week. I tried to take the kids on some fun outings to make them feel better. The first day we went to our favorite walking park and Asher tripped and got all scratched up! On Tuesday we had a blast at our favorite beach! It always amazes me how the children never care how frigid the water is.

Thursday we went to our favorite hiking spot and climbed trees.

Finally, Jason came home on Friday! It was a hard week for me but praise God for His sustaining grace! He is an ever present help in time of trouble. Also, I treated myself to watching a miniseries called Cranford which is sooooooo good (if you like bonnet films).

When Jason came home he put up the pool!
