This week was a crazy week! It started out fun by putting up our tree and taking our annual family photo. Here we are in all our gorgeousness!
Monday was normal.
Tuesday we went to Tuesday school and decided to drive to Seattle and stay the night. The boys had appointments early Wednesday morning and since Seattle Children's Hospital is four hours away, we decided to stay in a hotel. That was fun and we all got to go swimming!
Wednesday was a hectic day of getting lost in downtown Seattle, finding the hospital, getting five different appointments in and having all new doctors saying all new stuff. (Bottom line, everything is fine for now) We took the ferry home, exhausted. Autumn did not want her picture to be taken so I told her just to frown.
Thursday was a nice day of rest and phone calls, but Thursday night at Bible Study Asher got hit in the eye with a Nerf rocket. He was in pain but we told him to shrug it off and he would be fine in the morning.
Friday morning we went to the ER instead of the school field trip to the Space Needle we were supposed to do. Asher has a scratched cornea and the doctor immediately put him on Vicodin for the pain! (boy, did I feel guilty)
Saturday we spent all day trying to see an optometrist who gave him a "band-aid" contact. He is also on antibiotic & lubricant drops. He is doing better today but any light causes him a lot of pain. Jason made him some custom sunglasses:
