To My Faithful Readers:
I’m so sorry I have not posted for awhile! Our internet connection problem is growing worse and causing me much frustration, worry, and tears. Yes, literal tears. I am now, for some reason completely unknown to Jason or myself, completely unable to upload pictures to this blog. And this is a terrible predicament for, as you all know, I have the cutest children alive and the pictures of their capering antics are the pillar of my postings.
But here are a few things to report on from the last few weeks:
-We have been harvesting our fruit trees and have been washing, cutting, and freezing many apples and plums. This week we hope to borrow a cider press and turn a whole treeful of apples into apple cider.
-Our church had its annual Harvest Barn Party. We had lots of fun playing in hay, getting our hands injured during a tug-of-war, and eating lots of hot dogs. It was a great night of food, fun, & fellowship, the only drawback being the cow pie I stepped in.
-I had a birthday and was spoiled, as always. Asher made me a super-decorated brownie cake and Autumn made me a sweet creation of graham crackers, oreos, Cool Whip, and a Hershey’s kiss. Jason got me a Pampered Chef Trifle Bowl. Hopefully I will use it consistently to make beautiful trifles!
Hopefully we will get this problem fixed and I can return to my normal blogging routine. (but if you hear reports of a deranged woman with a gun at the Verizon store, pray for me)

I know how frustrating computer issues can be. You'll make it, though. Keep trying til you do. In the meantime, Lana would say that this is an opportunity to get even better at describing things WHILE it's an opportunity to learn how the computer works! lol (a sudden diagoses of Juvenile Onset (type 1) diabetes in little Seth became an opportunity for her and the kids to get much better at her least favorite subject: math!)I assume you have people to talk you through stuff on that, but if you want someone to bounce ideas off of, I'm your gal. Say "hi" to the kids for me!
