More Family Fun: Dissecting Owl Puke

The children and I are currently doing a unit on Rodents
for our Zoology course. A suggested activity was
to dissect owl pellets to find a rodent skeleton, and
I thought hey, why not?
So I had the children go outside and grab some from
the forest (j/k I got them from Amazon) and we
took them apart with tweezers.

expect! The bones are teeny tiny and it took
us about 45 minutes to get this:
Then we all washed our hands thoroughly.
