A few weeks ago we went for a little hike in the
woods with Grammy and Papa (who are here with
us for awhile). It was late in the day and pretty cold
but we wanted to get out of the house and a hike
sounded fun. Plus their doggies could get some
exercise. The picture is of Aiden and I.
I labeled it "Goofy Hikers" because Aiden is
wearing his bright orange beanie over his
hood and I have beef jerky hanging out of my mouth.
Anyway, our "little" hike turned out to be five miles
because the loop turned out to be a lot longer
than remembered. Thankfully we made it
back to the van right at sunset (and thank
goodness we had beef jerky!)
But the view at the top was amazing!
