Homeschooling Fun

Aiden was doing a unit study on Egypt so we
made a pyramid cake! I had done this project
with the other two and remembered them loving it.
And really, what's not to love that involves cake?
We baked a cake mix in a jelly roll pan and then
cut it into different squares. We filled it with
Rolos, chocolate coins, and a tissue-wrapped
Lego mummy.
We iced it and covered it with "gold dust" (brown sugar).
Our Lego Cobra and Sphinx were ready to eat it!

Autumn built an Indian pueblo out of index
cards. Do you see the girl in the corn?
