Last Saturday, Autumn and I were invited to tea
at a friend's house. It was definitely a dress-up affair, so
Autumn and I tried to look our best!
Our lovely hostess (a homeschool Mom & teacher at our school
program) was born in England, and she knew how to have a tea!
Do you see all her treats?
Only a few moms attended, but all these beautiful girls had a
fun time picking out their tea, teapot, and cup. She had
so many to choose from! The girls giggled, ate, displayed
all their piano skills, and even went outside for a bit
to play in the chilly February air.
After we returned home (I being highly caffeinated having drank
a huge pot of tea) we got to see the boys' idea of fun:
cleaning out our chimney pipe in the rain.
