"Wait!" you say. "Isn't this post supposed to be about Asher?
So why do you have a picture of your dog looking at a
bird?"
"Well," I reply, "the dog lets me take pictures of him,
whereas Asher will not. Isn't Reggie cute? Asher is too,
you'll just have to trust me."
Well, anyway, Asher enjoys listening to music and
the wonderful thing is, I really like his taste.
The songs he downloads quickly become my
favorites, too, so I don't mind when
he's blasting them from his room or
burning new cds to play in the van.
A few of his current faves:
Newsboys: "That's How You Change the World"
and "God's Not Dead"
Citizen Way: "Today is Beautiful"
Matthew West: "Day One"
TobyMac: "Beyond Me"
I once read an article on homeschooling that advised mothers of easily distracted children to play music while the child worked. It seems counter-productive to me, because noise just distracts me more when I'm trying to concentrate. However, it works for Asher beautifully.
He gets the most work done with his tunes going!

Shelli, Dad also has to have music or some sort of noise going while he studies. It really makes no sense to me but hey, it does work for him. That was a really cute picture of Reggie. Thank you for sharing your blog once again. I wouldn't have checked it if you hadn't emailed. We are soooo excited about visiting you guys, there is so much to share. Dad had a great visit with Tim at the conference. He couldn't say enough good things about Jason and his leadership abilities. Dad was so proud!!
