A Visit from Uncle Randy!

My brother Randy came to visit us this last week and we had so much fun with him! He lives in Missouri currently and the children hadn't seen him in three years or something. But of course they latched on to him right away and were very sad to see him go! Here are some of the things we did.

Went to the movies and ate chocolate

Hiking in the Redwood Forest, keeping the children away from "sensitive areas" (a heavily armed Forest Ranger warned us to keep our kids on the trail)
He made brownies with Autumn in her Easy-Bake oven. They had great fun! (the brownies tasted like sugary mud, though)

We went hiking at Cane Creek and it was so hot! Here we are resting and panting.

The other fabulous activity was bowling, but I don't have any good pictures of that. Randy is an awesome bowler! He is also very kind and didn't make fun of the rest of us who aren't as good. We're missing him already!
