An Awesome Thanksgiving Week!

Last week was a blast for us because our beloved friends, the Tran Fam, drove 18 hours
in the rain to be here. We were so thankful!
Here are all the kiddies at our local bowling alley.

Margaret and I had the huge blessing of getting a girls' night out! We went for Mexican
and a movie. This is a huge amount of food and I'm sure Margaret would want me
to mention that neither of us finished our meals.

Keeping the kids occupied when it was raining by playing an adapted version of Bananagrams
(they each got a dime for every word they made)
Our Thanksgiving meal was great! We also had the Macias family from church over, and the girls
got their own table. It was such a sweet time-Jason read a Psalm, Tay made the turkey, and the Macias family brought Pumpkin Pice Cream (a combination of ....pumpkin pie and ice cream!) I just sat back and enjoyed the food, fun, & fellowship.
On the last day it was sunny and we did our famous Gale hot-dog roast. Jasmine had the great
idea to roast a marshmellow and put it between two choc. chip cookies and Asher willingly
tried it! Introducing ....the S'mookie!

Other activities included: hiking, painting ceramincs, lots and lots of Wii, and a play put on by the girls for us. We are so thankful!
