Cider Pressin'

We finally were able to borrow a cider press to press our apples!

Step one: pick the apples
Aiden was so brave and loved picking the topmost apples.

The press was so fun to use! The first step was putting the apples, whole, down a chute where they were chopped up into tiny chunks. Then the bucket slid over and we took turns pressing down the chunks until the juice came out.

The cider that came out was delicious! We got about 8 gallons to freeze, drink, and give away.
