Okay, so a pummelo (if you don't know) is a very large, cantaloupe-sized grapefruit. I know this because my dear friends own a produce stand and one of the many benefits of having friends who own a produce stand (and trust me-there are many) is that they encourage me to try new fruits and vegetables I would never try.
Today when I went in I was invited by the awesome Laura to try a pummelo and it was great! Definitely grapefruity but sweet as well. There happened to be another church brother there and he tried it too. We had a pummelo party right there in the store!
God is so good to me- I have good friends, a new fruit to eat, and it's just fun to say pummelo party.

Neeley and I tried some at the local farmer's market, you guessed it....we bought about 5!! So glad I will be able to get lots of fruits and veggies there. Is this a new place you found?
