Yay! My Dad and stepmother came out here for a week
and spent a fun time with us. It was like Disneyland
around here, lots of food, games, & fun. (of course
the extra break from school was nice)
Miss Julie (we call her) became Asher's best friend
because not only was she the only one who would play
Axis & Allies w/Asher, she actually enjoyed it and got
into it. The game lasted several days-now I know to set it up
on a folding table so it can be "put away" for such things as
eating, sleeping, and life. I think the game lasts almost as long
as the war actually did.
One of the many fun things we did: ceramic painting!
This I've never done before but it is addicting. I'm already thinking
of what I'll make when we go back.

The ceramic painting is SOOOO much fun. I found a nativity set on clearance after Christmas one year, then took different friends in with me each time to work on different pieces of it. Most of them signed their names underneath, so I can go back and remember some of the fun times that we had together sipping coffee, visiting, and painting. :)
