We drove a long way today to take the kids to the Tacoma
Zoo & Aquarium and had such a great time!
It was a gorgeous day and we had some great, up close animal experiences.
Feed the birds? Tuppence a bag....(it was really $1 a stick)
At dinner Jason and I were reminiscing about past zoo trips and we were
thinking how pleasant a zoo trip is when you have older kids....
....no temper tantrums
....no worry about them wandering away
....no whining (or very little) for ice cream
We actually enjoyed the animals ourselves!
even the goat liked Autumn
