Aiden had a birthday over the weekend and we all had
so much fun celebrating it! Since his birthday fell on a Sunday
this year, we decided to celebrate it on Saturday instead.
So he opened his presents on Saturday, had a few friends
over for a very small party, and had all his favorite meals.
(breakfast: pancakes, eggs & bacon, lunch: top ramen with hotdogs,
dinner: beans & rice)
Here he is helping me make chocolate cake (1 round + cupcakes).
He added chocolate chips, M&Ms, and topped it with triple Oreos!
He enjoyed his birthday so much that on Sunday when I wished him
a happy birthday, he said, "Oh, that was yesterday."
His favorite part of the whole day: whacking the heck
out of that pinata.
To Aiden:
You're funny, you're cute and definitely not a mute,
You're sweet and strong, and getting quite long.
You love Legos and dogs and cars and such,
You're my goofy guy whom we love so much.
