A Happy Valentine's Day

My mom sent all the kids a Valentine card
this week, so I made them pose.
And speaking of lovely valentines, my wonderful husband
gave me the best Valentine's gift ever:
a box of giant assorted fudge chunks that he
and Autumn hand-picked for me, making sure
that all the fudge was completely nut-free.
There was Oreo fudge, salted caramel, s'more,
cookie dough....wait, do you think I'm a little obsessed?
I liked it :)

As for our foster cuties, our situation changed this week,
as they had visitation with their mother. Little "L" was clearly
happy to see her mother and has a strong attachment to her.
The social worker is encouraged by this and the
progress and commitment her mother is making
to get the kids back.
That is a good thing!

The only discouraging thing this has brought about is that
now little "L" has changed somewhat. She is more "sassy", refuses
to be alone at any time, and cries for her mother now.
It just means for us a new level of love and praying for
more wisdom, as we feel we have shifted from
"parenting" to "baby-sitting" now.
