Two weeks have gone by since we became a family of seven.
The first week went really well. She was excited to be here,
responded really well to all our directions, and plus, ladies from church
brought us dinner all week.
This last week has gone not so well. She got sick, Asher got
sick, and I got sick. By Wednesday, Aiden and baby were down. What I worried
would be difficult (what to do with a new toddler in the house) became a
non-stop impossible job of taking care of everyone while trying to have a godly
attitude.
We went to the doctor’s office 4 times. Jason had to take 2
days off work to help. I had one mommy meltdown. (sorry, Asher)
But now that she and I are both well (the rest of the family
are in various stages of getting-well-ness) we can go back to getting to know
her and enjoying her.

OH my! How super exciting!!! We are all praying for abundant strength, grace, and love....
Am very excited about this new journey your family is taking! Billy and I begin our first foster care class tomorrow. It's neat to know there are others who've gone before us that we can turn to for advice:)
