Family Fun Day?

One day, an optimistic father and mother wanted to take five children to the beach. It was winter, but as it was not raining they decided to have some fun family time. They even brought the dog! Alas, when they arrived at the beach within minutes it started pouring rain. One of their sons made the poor decision to throw the ball into the cold ocean water, thereby making their dog into a stinky, pitiable creature and landing the son in trouble. As everyone was soon wet and cranky, the beach day was cut dramatically short. We hear them on their way home:

Baby: “Waaaaaaah!!!!!!”

Grumpy Teenage Son: “THIS is why we shouldn’t do family outings anymore, they always end like this!”

Snarky Teenage Daughter: “Yes, then we always have to hear YOU complain about it.”

Irritable Mother: “Yes, then we have to hear you being snarky to your brother!”

Baby: “Waaaaaaah!!!!”

Daddy, angrily: “Everyone, BE QUIET!”

Little girl, 2: “Waaaaaah!!!”

Annoying Son(who got the dog wet), in a mocking, exaggerated voice: “Waaaaaaah!!!”

The two parents: "Sigh....."
