We've been trying to have fun while the sun
shines!
Last weekend, we went to our favorite beach,
where the Elwha River hits the Strait of Juan de Fuca.
Aiden and Autumn were playing in the river
when the current took them out to sea!
Even though Aiden had a life jacket and both children
were on floating toys, Jason had to jump in and go
after them, not knowing where they would end up
following the strong current of the river.
As Jason was swimming after Aiden, he could hear
Aiden frantically shouting to him. Finally catching
up to Aiden, Jason realized he was shouting,
"Dad! Dad! Do they speak English in Canada?!!"
This pic is of Jason, Aiden, and Autumn fighting
the river to come back to the beach side.
To be on the safe side, Asher has been just hanging out
with Reggie on the front lawn.

Even without using her arms, Autumn dominates
the lake wrestling competition....
