On Monday we went to Dillon Beach. It was a cold beach day, but we had fun anyway. The kids found a big sand castle already made. They added to the work and tried to make a ditch so the water could fill it up. It never worked. It is a cute picture of them anyway.

We also went exploring. Asher led the way as we tried to find cool paths. Right before I took this picure he yelled, "Follow me, men! It's our only chance for survival!" I am so glad he still has an active imagination.

Asher and Autumn found a mussel intact attached to seaweed. Asher pounded it open and they both saw the animal inside. They were looking for a pearl, but neither wanted to dig inside and feel for one!

Isn't the water beautiful? I absolutely love the beach. No matter how cold it is I feel so relaxed and peaceful, more than any other place on earth! Maybe it is because I don't have any allergies there. Isn't God awesome to give me a husband in the Coast Guard, which practically guarantees me a home near a beach? And speaking of awesome, today is our 15th year anniversary! The Lord is so kind and gracious to us undeserving people.

That's a pretty great Coast Guard perk, I agree! Beautiful pictures and beautiful children. You guys are blessed.
