A Visit from the Plague, part 2

The plague that hit us last week lingered and Aiden finally succumbed to it on Tuesday. That being said, we did little this week that was blogworthy, other than setting the world's record in tissue use. You know how children use tissues: they wipe two molecules of snot on one, then crumple it up into a ball and throw it on the floor, never really blowing it all out! Anyway, here are some pictures of what the kids are doing right now:

Autumn is eating a butter and jelly sandwich.

Aiden is playing with swords in the playroom.

Asher is playing Lego Star Wars on his PS2.

I tried to take a picture of myself writing on this blog, but then I remembered I look horrible in pictures and abandoned the idea immediately! I hope that all of your weeks have been more fun.

In some sad family news, my dear aunt Janette passed away this week. She lived in New Mexico and I haven't seen her in a few years but growing up I spent time with her all the time. She loved to laugh and have fun with me and I'll always remember her generosity and playfulness. Please pray for my Dad (it was his sister) to be comforted by the Lord.

Shelli,

I was messing around w/ your blog to catch up on what you & your precious babies are up to. I was so stunned to read that Janette died. I saw your Mom in March & she said nothing about it! You know, J & I used to hang out all the time when we were teenagers. I'm so sorry about your loss and for Richard's loss. (So much for a family that communicates!!)

Love you always,
Aunt Karen
