Asher and I visited our nation's capitol this week and I have one word to describe it: Amazing! The beauty of the city, the coolness of the artifacts, the history behind everything was pretty overwhelming. And besides that, we had a great time being with my father and stepmother (a.k.a. Grandpa and Miss Julie) and a wonderful family friend, Edith.
This is the five of us on our last night. We ate at a restaurant on the banks of the Potomac. You can't see the river, but the moon over Asher's head looks cool!

the battlefield. He had to warn Asher to
hit the cannon before you look into it because
birds nest in them.

Lastly, here is Dad, Asher, and I at the LincolnMemorial overlooking the Washington
Monument.
While all this was taking place Autumn and Aiden were having a fantastic time at Grammy and Papa's house in
Oregon. They went cave exploring, to a science museum,
and an arts & crafts day. The only one who didn't have fun
was Jason, who was at home working and studying!
