For the past week and a half we were so blessed to have my beautiful mother staying with us! She lives in Oklahoma and it has been a year since we've seen her so we had lots of catching up to do. The children latched on to her immediately and I'm afraid we all quite exhausted her! Here she is with Autumn, making an apron for Autumn's new business venture: the A.V.G. mini-salon. (She offers nail polishing, perfume, back massages, and other beauty services)

We also visited the Petrified Forest in Calistoga. It was fun to feel the trees that have been turned into rock! We also had a fun picnic and perfect weather.

Another day we drove into San Fransisco and explored part of Golden Gate park. It was very cold and windy, but so pretty. We had a dinner picnic in the van. Here are the children with Mom in the AIDS Memorial Grove.

We love you Gramma and miss you already!
