Our super-duper awesome fun vacation

Welcome to the blog of our super-duper awesome fun vacation! Every year we spend two weeks at Jason's parents house in Southern Oregon and every year gets better and better! (And every year we break more stuff in my in-laws house, it's really amazing they invite us back!) Here are some pictures:

A picnic at Lava Beds National Monument Cave exploring (called "Spelunking") This is something we

do everytime we visit because it is so fun! I may have written

about it before. We all don helmets, knee pads, and gloves and

climb, slide, scoot and crawl through caves. We come out a

few hours later dirty, exhausted, and bruised but we love it!

This is the beautiful Lake of the Woods! Once again,

Aiden is fearless!
Asher caught a frog and named him Trevor.
(Don't worry, we let Trevor stay at the lake)

The Galli's (Jason's sister's family) came for some fun!

One day we went canoeing and the dogs came!

We tied two canoes together and had to row back

quick because a thunder storm started coming!

This time we are at a cool science museum in Ashland, OR.

The best day of all I have no pictures for: the day we went river rafting. We went with the Galli family again and took a three hour trip down the Rogue River. Talk about fun! We hit multiple rapids, got soaking wet, and enjoyed the beautiful scenery. Then it started sprinkling. Then raining. Then thunder and lightening. Lastly, gum-ball sized hail! We were

pelted and soaked and finally made it to the van, then we

all agreed that this was the best vacation ever!

Besides all that fun we went hiking a few times, yard sale-ing,

saw movies, visited friends, and ate a lot! We are so thankful

to God for giving us a blessed time of rest and fellowship and

family. We're starting to plan next year!
