Christmas, late
Even though it's a few weeks late, here are some pictures of our Christmas. We spent it in Oregon at Jason's parents house, along with his two sisters, their husbands, and his two nephews. The house was full of people and we had lots of fun and laughter! Here is Asher with Puggles, one of their dogs. Puggles is so patient; she'll let the kids do almost anything to her, probably because they drop the most food crumbs down to her while they eat!
We were very bummed it didn't snow while we were there! But it was still very sunny (albeit chilly) and we got a few good walks in.
This is Aiden and his cousin Andy playing a puzzle game Aiden got for Christmas.
One of the best surprises at Christmas was on Christmas Eve when all five grandchildren had a treasure hunt around the house. Their clues were Bible verses they had to look up, which then led to the next clue around the house. What they finally found were their own individual treasure boxes, hand-made by Papa, with locks and candy inside! Autumn's was extremely special; hers has two drawers and the top compartment is lined with sateen and a mirror! I wish I took a picture with Papa and the boys, but I was really lame with my picture taking this year.
One of Autumn's special Christmas gifts was a Ruby doll kit, which contains supplies and instructions to make little dolls patterned after the virtuous woman of Proverbs 31. She has already made some dolls and accessories for it by herself, and below is the mom, dad, and baby of the family. Aren't they so cute?
