This past week a dear, dear man from church loaned us thier Kayaks and we had soooo much fun with them. I posted a picture of Autumn especially because she took to it like a duck to water! Immediately she got the hang of it and could paddle it fast and accurately. We were so amazed and have now planned out her future as an olympic kayaker. (is kayaking an olympic sport? I'm so dumb at those things!)
On Thursday was Coast Guard Day, a holiday for Coasties. We went to a picnic with the usual: a potato sack race, jumping booths, a dunking tank where all the officers were getting soaked. But what I had never seen before were "sumo suits" for people to wear and practice sumo wrestling:
