Christmas Blessings

Our Christmas vacation was such a rich time with family and friends!
We had great visits, fun times, and besides all that it was
a great time for our family to be together on a road trip.
The first night on our trip down, we stayed at a Christian camp
overnight in bunks! It was a little cold but something new and fun.
Here is Aiden in his bunk with his "Pocket Dog", one of his
favorite gifts. (the dog is full of pockets; in fact all the other animals
in the picture were stuffed into it!)
Christmas day with Grammy & Papa!
Grammy had a fun idea to hide the presents so the kids got to
go on a scavenger hunt first to find them. This is
Aunt Neeley & Uncle Steve's beautiful tree
in their beautiful house! And do you see Aunt Neeley's
beautiful belly? Don't worry...there's a better pic coming soon.
Fun times: playing with their two Boston Terriers
This is Jason & Boris having fun with the laser pointer.
Another Christmas memory: Autumn crocheted a little beanie with
a brim for Jack who was supposed to have been born by
Christmas! Oh well, we trust in God's timing for all things.
And we spent some time with Aunt Ellie in Mexico on
Christmas via Skype! She got to see the kids open some
presents and we got to see some of her cats.
What a blessing fast internet is!
The day after Christmas we spent the day with our awesome friends.
Here are some of the three cutest girls on the planet.
While the kids played, the adults caught up on life and had
sweet fellowship.
We missed seeing these cousins at Christmas, but we saw them quickly in
passing on the drive down and the drive up. We stopped to see Aunt
Annie, Uncle Mel, and AJ and Andy somewhere in the Shasta Pass.
It doesn't matter that the boys don't get to spend much
time together....cousins + snow = instant snow fight!
And still on the way home we stopped in Portland to see my brother
and *new* sister-in-law, Randy & Katie. We had a brief but fun visit with them in
downtown Portland. (Asher is wearing his favorite gift-a personalized
Mariners jersey!)
We came home tired but happy, and so thankful for safe
travel and a wonderful family!

P.S. Aunt Neeley had her baby two days after we left!
