Pictures of the Week

Besides Autumn's birthday, we did some other fun stuff here this week!
On Tuesday the children went to a "Pirate Day", a day long homeschool event about the history of pirates. It was very interesting and fun. We even had some kind of pirate stew for lunch with biscuits that had gummy worms in them!

On Thursday we went to the beach for the first time this year. It was windy and cold, but the children didn't mind in the least. The boys are both climbing this cool tree, see if you can find Asher in the picture.

On Friday it was so warm here we got out the slip-n-slide!
Lastly, you've heard of wood carving. You might have heard of soap-carving. But have you ever heard of ....carrot-carving? Never underestimate what my genius husband can do when he's bored:

Yes, these were all carved from baby carrots.

It's amazing what bordom can do to person's mind!! Great shots of the kids especially Asher in that huge tree.
